If your involved in the litigation field, its almost guaranteed that you have heard of LexisNexis. Our litigation division utilizes LAW PreDiscovery, to help reduce your initial processing costs, by combining production-level imaging and electronic processing.

LAW PreDiscovery is an imaging and electronic discovery application that allows litigation teams to pre-review and cull hundreds of eDiscovery and scanned documents prior to reviewing and process.

It will quickly cut huge documents sets down to reasonable size prior to costly processing and reviewing. Utilizing proprietary pre-culling and de-duplicating technology, this will reduce the amount of files that need to be processed. Your team can begin its review much sooner with fewer files.

Litigation Coding Services

Often the difference in presenting a successful case rests on access to the facts. The challenge is finding those facts quickly from mountains of data. AR’s Litigation Coding services help you prepare for discovery and trial by organizing the relevant documents into an easy to use searchable database. Ultimately, pinpointing information you need from thousands, even millions of pages. This includes: e-mails, faxes, letters, memos, contracts, depositions, etc.

I already have scanned my Case Documents…can you organize them?

If you have already scanned your documents, we are happy to perform any services that you may need. This may include OCR or coding services.

Accurate Search & Retrieval

We begin each litigation coding assignment alongside our clients, developing a case-driven coding manual that incorporates strategies, issues and criteria. During this preparation phase, we will analyze the content to determine a coding plan allowing for optimal information retrieval.

Auto Coding Documents:

Demand for high speed auto coding and automated indexing of litigation documents has grown substantially over the past several years. With the improvements to software and increases in computer processing power, auto coding has become a realistic way to reduce costs for certain documents early in the review process.

Auto coding is not a replacement for manual coding, but for large populations of litigation documents it can be a cost effective tool during initial review. Many clients combine auto coding with manual bibliographic coding for a way to inexpensively capture names mentioned along with keywords.

Auto coding is similar to OCR technology in that it is not 100% accurate; however, accuracy greatly depends on the quality of the original documents. Auto coding is very effective in capturing the following fields:

  • document date(s)
  • document type
  • case number
  • author
  • recipient
  • names mentioned
  • keyword identification
